Photomontage

The “Gulliver Redux” series was principally photographed in and around downtown Los Angeles, California. The combination of art deco styling, modern buildings and human congestion contributed to the visuals which required massive constructions.

There are numerous touch points that have been even brought to my attention during the ideation and subsequent creative process. This project was initially a "Gulliver Redux," reframing the narrative of a vagabond giant and transporting the creature to a familiar yet fantastical situation. It has evolved to become a touchpoint on the anthropecene, or what is sometimes referred to as the "Age of Man" by geographers. The anthropecene is a term which defines an age defined by human impact upon the earth and the massive implications this will have on values and commodities.
